Board

The Board of Directors members are sourced from a wide spectrum of community and business people who have a passion for ensuring that people with disabilities are given equitable opportunities to employment and quality of life.

The current Northaven board consists of nine members ranging from parents/advocates, professionals and small business owners all of whom bring a unique set of skills, knowledge and experience to the success of Northaven.

The board meets on a monthly basis, which provides an opportunity to discuss corporate governance, financial details, expenditure, operational matters and other general concerns raised by the general manager.

The board’s treasurer, in conjunction with the company auditor, oversees the financial systems in place to ensure the financial sustainability of Northaven.
