Northaven stations at Toughen Up Challenge
A team of Northaven volunteers took great pride in helping out at the Inverell Toughen Up Challenge 2019.
Northaven ran two water stations, one at the back gate of Rugby Park and the second near the suspension bridge. It was a great day of keeping the participants hydrated, not to mention the red frogs for energy! Our first group at Rugby Park was in charge of advising the teams that they couldn't stop yet, they must go another round - sometimes this was okay, but plenty of times this was met with groans from tired runners. At the suspension bridge, we showed everyone where they must go, taking an active role in keeping everyone safe.
Our water stations received many compliments on how tidy and organised they were, and we are most eager to do it again next year.
Thank you Inverell for supporting us! We certainly enjoyed looking after you.
